As only 2 weeks left in completion of Amal fellowship before its end I want to say thanks to the Amal academy for providing this brilliant platform that enabled me to change myself and evolve as a better version of myself. I am highly thankful to the Amal academy and Amal team for selecting me and giving me an opportunity to think what I am? What do I want in my life? What is the purpose of my life?

My earliest learnings when I joined as a fellow in the Amal Academy Career Prep Fellowship were about building connections and understanding what empathy, having faith meant. For me, it meant that only those succeed in life who have a growth mindset and carry the faith to take whatever challenge life sends their way.

I mean, the first moments when I joined it on 5 December, 2020, for my first class, are etched clearly in my minds and I would do anything to relive them all over again, a feeling, I do believe that all of my Amal Fellow feel as well.

And as we were having quality time, two weeks past us by in a blur, where we interacted with people from all over Pakistan and took some very intellectual courses. One of these courses, which was about discovering who are we, had left a profound impact on me which triggered lots of internal thought process in my mind that what was my purpose in life and could I really have an impact on others? This course provided me with a lot of answers in the form of understanding the concepts of being empathetic, having a positive mindset and having faith that the dots will somehow connect in the future.

Lastly, our amazing Program Managers, Ma’am Sana and Ma’am Fziza, who’s sole priority was the growth of the fellows, created a very safe environment for the students to connect with. Personally speaking, this was one of the safest places I have ever been a part of it in the last few years.

Overall, I would end this note with the illustration of a door, that Amal Academy is a kind of a magical door for me which has happened avenues to friendship, learning and developing a growth mindset for life and it has truly been an honour being a fellow in this amazing journey, which is about to end in a few weeks.

Thank you, Amal for everything!
